A fascinating tour with breathtaking panoramas that stretch from the Sibillini Mountains to Mount Conero, reaching Mount Cucco and Catria while crossing the Ancient Beech Forest of Canfaito and overlooking the valley formed by the Camerte Syncline. This moderately challenging tour begins in Braccano, also known as the "Mural Village" due to the presence of over 70 paintings adorning the houses in the small town. These murals were created by students from the Brera Academy and artists from around the world. The route takes you through places rich in culture, such as the Abbey of Santa Maria de Rotis, and history, as these mountains were a hub of partisan resistance. Recent studies have even suggested that the famous song "Bella Ciao" originated here. The tour culminates in the "Ancient Beech Forest of Canfaito," home to a beech tree over 500 years old. Before returning to the starting point, a visit to the "Sasso Forato" is highly recommended. This intriguing geological site features an opening between two rocks that creates a sort of tunnel.
