Among rolling hills and back roads, the journey passes through the silent, productive heart of Le Marche.
A succession of industrious villages, forgotten hamlets and open views, telling us of the everyday beauty of a solid, surprising land.
Our journey resumes in the rolling hills and back roads passing through cultivated fields and farms. We reach Montegranaro, the heart of the Marche’s footwear district: here, work is art, and shoe production is a tradition recognised throughout the world. The centre, perched on a hill, tells the oldest story of the village. The ride continues among ridges and open views, with a short diversion to Alteta, a tiny hamlet of Montegiorgio where silence reigns supreme. At Magliano di Tenna, the landscape widens again: the village overlooks the river valley, with brick houses and cosy atmosphere. Ascents and descents alternate, on a dynamic, never monotonous route. The stage ends in Grottazzolina, a small, welcoming town that began as a medieval fortification, with a lively cultural life. The day ends here, in a stage that perfectly mixes modernity and memory, hard work, and beauty, craftsmanship, nature and history.
