A stage that gently glides from the hills to the sea, between sunny ridges and villages suspended in time. 
A transition between two worlds: the rural silence inland, and the lively brackish one of the Adriatic coast.

The penultimate leg of the journey slides between the Fermo hills and the promise of the sea. It starts in Grottazzolina, amidst ridges and quiet roads, as the gaze follows the soft contours of the landscape. The first stop is Moresco, a medieval jewel suspended in time, where every stone invites you to pause. Then the road winds its way back through tidy cultivations and continuous ups and downs as the horizon begins to open up. The blue of the Adriatic becomes more and more present and, near Grottammare, it appears like a real mirage: the sea is there, welcoming. A gentle descent takes you to San Benedetto del Tronto, a city that welcomes you with its elegant seafront promenade, a cycle path that skims the beach and the lively energy of the port. The boats, fish market, quayside art installations, and manicured gardens tell of a city that lives from and with the sea. A small landing place after so many hills and villages, a breath of fresh air at sea level.
But the journey is not over: there is still one stage left to complete cycle ride through the Marche.
