Civitanova Marche

CIVITANOVA AND THE SEA

CIVITANOVA MARCHE
Via Caduti del Mare

A short distance from the Church of Christo Re and to its right, we find the marina of Molo Nord [North Pier]. A walk along the pier will lead you to the green lighthouse, where you can catch a glimpse of a distant Monte Conero. Walking in the harbour towards the south, you can quickly reach the Molo Sud [South Pier], where fishing boats and the typical “vongolare” are moored. Here, you can take a ride on a fishing boat for a guided tour and lunch onboard. Continuing our walk, we reach the final arm of the harbour. This opens a wide view on the Adriatic Sea, from north to south. An ideal place for fishing lovers. Going back to the pier, past the Coast Guard, which we find to our left, we come to the fish market on our right. Enjoy the simulated fish auction!

Potenza Picena

POTENZA PICENA IN BLUE

POTENZA PICENA
Lungomare Marinai d’Italia

Once arrived in this precious town, we reach the Belvedere and go on to Marinai d’Italia Promenade which has a striking view of the fine and golden beach. Going back to the town center you can stop and visit the Port Tower (Torre del Porto) -  a fortress built to defend the coast against Saracenic attacks – and Saint Anne Church (Chiesa di Sant’Anna). For bicycle touring lovers the itinerary can continue riding a bike along the cycle route that develops to the north up to Porto Recanati. Not far from the town center, also in Porto Potenza has a really nice marina where you can leave every day for a pleasant sea excursion and that every night fires up with lights and fun.
